Chatsworth, CA — June 5, 2006, 2006 — California based Printing Technology, Inc. (PTi™) announced the release of 9 new inkjet cartridges to its inkjet offering.  The company now has replacement cartridges available for HP’s  Lexmark’s P915/P6250/X3350/X5250/7170/Z816 series printers. 

Increasing production capacity has become critical as PTi™ rapidly increases its market share and also expands its product offerings.  De Salay continues, “In the recycling industry, production requirements can grow quickly.  Our California production facilities are serving us well, but we are at maximum capacity.  We need to expand, and the logical step is to expand eastward.  At PTi™ we have always looked to the future with innovation and productivity in mind.  Our new Tennessee facility will provide us with the additional space we need for our current and future production and development needs, and we are confident Tennessee will provide the local talent to help us achieve our goals.  PTi™ currently has over 300 employees worldwide and this expansion will create approximately 25 new jobs this year.  An additional 100 to 150 workers will also be needed within next three years of operation.”

 PTi™ has supported local industry over the years.  Another company, SME, in nearby Franklin, Tennessee, has supplied the company with custom inkjet remanufacturing production equipment, and is currently designing and building specially developed equipment for the new production lines.  The two companies have forged a strong relationship that is mutually beneficial and continues to grow.
