PTi® Releases Replacement Cartridges for HP® 1600/2600 Color Laser Printer

Chatsworth, CA — February 20, 2007 — California based Printing Technology, Inc. (PTi®) released the  remanufactured cartridge set for HP®’s latest entry level color laser printer - 1600/2600 series.  The replacement cartridges include: Q6000A (Black), Q6001A (Cyan), Q6002A (Yellow), and Q6003A (Magenta).  The cartridges are available individually or as a set.

“Our dealers have been waiting patiently for us to release this item,” says Tim Purugganan, PTi®’s Vice President-Marketing.  Purugganan continues, “With this line of printers selling for under $300, the market is full of SOHO as well as small/medium businesses that wanted to have an in-house color printing solution with little up front costs and since the OEM cartridges only produce up to 2000 pages color and 2500 pages black, there is a huge opportunity for our dealers to convert their customers over to a much needed lower cost alternative.  We expect to sell a lot of these cartridges.”

This is PTi®’s 10th HP® color cartridge release.  PTi® also offers cartridge sets for HP® color laser printers 1500, 2500, 2840, 3500, 3700, 4500, 4600, 5500, and 8500 series.  Coming soon are cartridges for HP® color laser printers 3000, 3600, 3800, 4700, and 4730 series.
